When will I receive my gown?
All gowns and minis can take 10-18 weeks to craft until they are shipped. If you need a rush order, there is an additional $200 - $400 charge. Please message us with your requested time frame so that we may arrange it accordingly. Please be aware we work on a first come first serve schedule and not all rush orders will be possible.
Alterations?
While South of West does contract custom gowns, we do not do dress alterations. Please see your local wedding dress alterer or seamstress for this service.
Do you accept refunds or exchanges?
Due to the specialization of our clothing, all garments are made to order therefor are not available for a refund or exchange. We understand placing a wedding gown order is a big commitment and we want to you be 100% happy with your purchase. If you have any additional questions or would like additional photos and details about a gown, please do not hesitate to reach out. We're here to help in all stages of your dress buying process.
Can I cancel my order?
All South of West pieces are made to order, which means we begin sourcing materials and planning production as soon as your order is placed. Because of this, orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.
If you need to cancel your order, you must contact us within 48 hours of purchase. Cancellations requested after this time will not be accepted, and your order will proceed as scheduled.
Rush orders and custom orders are non-cancellable once placed.
Can I make payment installments?
We understand weddings are expensive, and the planning process can be stressful. Breaking up the dress cost can be a huge help. For both off the rack and custom gowns, a 50% non-refundable deposit is available, and the remaining balance may be payed upon delivery no later than 18 weeks. Purchases will not ship until the remaining balance is payed. If you would like to initiate this, please send an email to southofwestbridal@gmail.com prior to buying your dress and we will send you a special Purchase Order.
Where can I get my dress cleaned?
We recommend going to your local dry cleaners and requesting any special treatments they have for wedding dresses. Please do not attempt to wash any South of West gowns at home.
Can I try on any South of West gowns?
Yes! we currently have a small showroom at 403 Wisconsin Ave Ste C, Oceanside CA, 92054. Gown try on's are by appointment only, if you would like to set one up please email brie@southofwestbridal.com.
If you are not in the San Diego area, send me an email and we can arrange an at home try-on with simple returns for $150. At home try-ons are non refundable.
